Lion of Judah!

Revelation 5:5 – And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”

On today’s Periscope (Part 1 & Part 2), I shared some history around the time of Zephaniah the prophet to the nation Judah during the reign of Josiah. I feel there are many treasures to be unearthed when we understand the backstory of a verse. Our focal verse, Zephaniah 3:17 is rich by itself, but when you understand it into the context of the story, this verse is powerful! A foretelling to our Savior, Jesus!

Here’s a FREE Printable for your personal use. Full tutorial available on Periscope (Part 1 & Part 2).

I was inspired by my friend Tai Bender of Growing Meadows (IG). She has this beautiful lion print available in her Etsy Shop in many different formats.
